Beck Sian, cousin of Kate Bush, came here from Australia in 2006. Her 2008 tour is ‘Luminous Wings & Unseen Things’. Ethereal, graceful and colourful, she describes her original music as 'Haunted Forest Music', influenced by the forest-covered Dandenong Ranges where she grew up. An award-winning songwriter, she complements her unique compositions with her emotional interpretations of traditional ballads - songs of storms, nature, loves lost and a ghost story or two. Beck will be producing two new eagerly awaited albums this year. She will be sharing the evening with Tam Lin, who play a wide range of Scottish and Irish traditional music, English songs and hints of Old Time Mountain music.
