Further information: Chris Wood

Chris's career has moved through church music, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre to the use of folk  song as a narrative - he is in great demand for work in schools and workshops, also regularly a guest lecturer at the University of Limerick, a visiting fellow on the Folk Degree course at the University of Newcastle, and instigator of  the English Acoustic Collective which runs an annual Summer school at Ruskin Mill near Nailsworth. Frequently to be heard on the BBC, his CD 'The Lark Descending' won huge acclaim (and one of its songs won BBC Radio 2's Folk Award for 'best original song' in 2006).
