Ruth started on the live circuit around Nottingham at the age of 13 and has three albums to date - becoming a finalist in the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards in 2007.  She was acclaimed as 'a great new talent' by none other than John Tams and her album Threads was described as a 'stunning piece of work' by Mike Harding. She will be accompanied by Saul Rose from Dansaul, Faustus and many others.
