Tim has been away from the club too long - but after being a member of Waterson: Carthy and Dr Faustus for several years he was playing in War Horse at the National Theatre in 2008. His forte has always been traditional music and in 2007 his band, Van Eyken, won the Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Traditional Track with their version of the song 'John Barleycorn'. He is now returning to the folk circuit and we can promise an entertaining and memorable evening. |
